Did you know that 18.8% of Massachusetts households were struggling with food insecurity problems? That meant every fifth person might be going to bed hungry.

I came up with the idea of donating the leftover food to the local food bank every Wednesday. They food bank that I go to is called Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Inc. They helped about 70,000 people per month in 33 cities and over 100 agencies. Even though the amount of food we bring each time isn’t much, it can still help some people and make a difference.
